Hello all and welcome to my new blog! I’m so glad you’re here. I decided to start this site to share the projects I am working on at my condo. I bought my condo 7 months ago and I have done some updates to it, but there are plenty more on my list! So come along on my journey for projects from big to small.
My most recent home improvement was getting two new faucets installed. One in the kitchen and one in the half bathroom. Starting with the kitchen, yeah that faucet was driving me nuts! It was old and it had a low arc which made washing dishes and filling up my Brita pitcher tough! There was a sprayer on the right side of the sink which wouldn’t pull out very far and the water pressure was low so it didn’t do much good. I looked around on Amazon and found an awesome new faucet that is a huge improvement! Behold my before and after photos:
Before: The original faucet here when I moved in

After: My new brushed nickel kitchen faucet from Amazon

As you can see my new one is much higher up, so washing dishes is much easier. It has a pull down sprayer that I love. And the right side of the sink now has a neat little built in soap pump with hand soap in it. In the world of home improvements, this is small, but it has made such a big difference!
And the half bathroom was majorly in need of a faucet upgrade too. I’m certain that the previous owner got the cheapest faucet he could. The handles were hard to turn and water sprayed out all over the sink when it was turned on. Yikes! So again check out my photos.
Before: The crummy original faucet

After: New Project Source two handle faucet from Lowe’s

As you can see my new faucet is much nicer and more modern looking. And even better, the water doesn’t spray out everywhere! Faucets may seem boring to some people, but getting these two faucets replaced really felt like a big upgrade in my daily life. Don’t ignore those little things that bug you in your home!
